Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by acquiring and securing new client accounts in the competitive logistics industry.
- Conduct regular sales calls and on-site visits to both existing and potential clients to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Build robust relationships with decision-makers among prospects and customers to establish long-term partnerships.
- Maintain consistent business development efforts with all assigned customer accounts, focusing on growth and retention.
- Participate in engaging entertainment and promotional activities for prospective clients, adhering to corporate policies and regulations.
- Actively promote the full range of products and services offered by the company, ensuring consistent brand representation.
- Monitor and assess customer satisfaction across all managed accounts, promptly addressing any dissatisfaction or disputes.
- Work collaboratively to resolve client disputes or dissatisfaction issues with a diligent and customer-focused approach.
- Conduct regular business intelligence research to stay informed about market trends and identify new opportunities.
- Prepare detailed and actionable reports on sales activities for management using OEC’s Customer Management System (CMS) software.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of logistics operations, particularly Air Import/Export and Ocean Import/Export processes.
- Proven ability to implement efficient prospecting strategies for successful client acquisition and retention.
- Proficient in Windows-based programs, including Lotus Notes, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Customer Management Systems (CMS).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
- Exceptional sales skills, with the ability to persuade and influence stakeholders.
- Results-driven and enthusiastic, with a passion for exceeding targets and achieving goals.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- A strong willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry.
