Air & Ocean Export Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate air and ocean export shipments, ensuring seamless execution and compliance.
- Book cargo and negotiate competitive Ad Hoc rates with carriers to optimize cost efficiency.
- Arrange and plan shipment pickups, maintaining adherence to schedules and client requirements.
- Verify the accuracy and compliance of all documentation during shipment preparation.
- Foster strong relationships with carriers to ensure reliable and efficient service.
- Monitor, read, and promptly respond to communications from clients, domestic and overseas partners, addressing daily operational issues effectively.
- Confirm bookings and secure appropriate approvals before relaying details to overseas agents.
- Track and trace shipments, ensuring timely delivery to final destinations.
- Perform accurate and timely billing for all shipments.
- Review and approve supplier invoices and overseas agent remittances, maintaining financial compliance.
- Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently, implementing preventative measures to reduce recurrence.
- Troubleshoot internal and operational issues, ensuring minimal service deficiencies and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Continuously improve internal systems and procedures to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of export industry standards, including air and ocean export regulations.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing international air and ocean exports.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, carriers, and team members.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships and foster teamwork.
- Proven ability to handle emergency situations with efficiency and professionalism.
- Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills to address challenges promptly.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to evaluate procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
