Network Administrator

Responsibilities
- Deploying, supporting, and maintaining the corporate network across Canada.
- Providing support for end-users, troubleshooting servers, PCs, printers, and IP phone systems.
- Installing, supporting, and maintaining current and future Microsoft operating systems used by the company.
- Training end-users on the effective use of various software.
- Managing and updating corporate hardware and software inventories.
- Overseeing corporate antivirus security systems and ensuring they remain up to date.
- Managing corporate servers, including regular backups.
- Administering and maintaining the corporate network infrastructure.
- Managing IP telephony systems.
- Supporting and maintaining Lotus Notes and Blackberry Enterprise Server.
- Maintaining and optimizing the VMware infrastructure.
- Supporting and maintaining SAN (Storage Area Network) infrastructure.
- Collaborating with and mentoring the Technical Support Specialist to ensure effective network user support.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar position, preferably with an International Freight Forwarding organization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and manage workloads efficiently.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with network management tools.
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
