Programmer Analyst

Responsibilities
As a Programmer Analyst, you will report to the IT Manager and be responsible for the development and maintenance of the WMS (Warehouse Management System) portion of the ERP system. Your key duties include:
- Acting as the main contact between IT and the 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) business unit.
- Assessing business requests and establishing timelines for delivery.
- Managing and updating the corporate hardware and software inventory.
- Collaborating with the IT department to deliver web-based software solutions, primarily in the 3PL space.
- Developing software based on business requirements while ensuring alignment with current and developing architecture.
- Designing technical solutions and corresponding database schemas from business requirements.
- Programming functionality required by the business using .NET technologies.
- Maintaining existing systems by fixing problems and implementing enhancements.
- Performing other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with .NET technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain concepts (Warehousing, 3PL Warehousing, and Transportation).
- Experience in developing web, desktop, and mobile applications using VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Proficient in SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Experience with database structure, data analysis, and report development using Active Reports and Crystal Reports.
- Ability to integrate web services and debug/troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong testing and documentation skills.
- Experience with ERP integration.
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement and learning.
- High degree of autonomy and excellent problem-solving abilities.
