Track disruption in British Columbia

Please be advised that due to severe weather conditions including heavy rain in the past 7 days in British Colombia, CN tracks between Boston Bar and Vancouver were affected by washouts. Three different sections were damaged and require repairs. The incident also caused backlogs at the Vancouver Terminals, as some trains were unable to depart on schedule.

CN has advised that operations should be returned to normal this morning, but have advised customers to expect delays over the next 4-6 days as they work to clear up the backlog.

OEC will continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide updates should the situation change.
