BC Wildfire Rail Service Update

We would like to update you on current intermodal rail status, that has been affected due to the wildfires in British Columbia.

Sunday night, British Columbia declared a State of Emergency provincially to heighten awareness of evacuations in areas with elevated wildfire risk.

During this State of Emergency, CN and CP continues to operate, although temperatures remain high in the affected area and therefore train speed are being adjusted accordingly.

Railcar supply continues to improve and yard congestion is reducing with trains departing eastbound.
Export loads from all origin points to Ports in Vancouver are now being accepted as well.
