IATA has launched a new digital solution, Dangerous Goods AutoCheck (DG AutoCheck), that allows the air cargo supply chain to check the compliance of shippers’ Declaration for Dangerous Goods (DGD) against the association’s Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR). Read more here

Maersk has been hit by another cyber attack. Investigators are looking into how hackers managed to get into towage subsidiary Svitzer Australia’s email system for nearly 10 months before the hack was finally discovered ion March 1 this year. Read more here.

Maersk changes stowage plans after deadly blaze

Maersk Line is to stop stowing dangerous cargo close to a ship’s accommodation block and engine casing until it is established what caused a devastating fire on the 15,262 teu Maersk Honam, which cost the lives of five crew members. Read more here.

Fuso goes on sale and all-electric light-duty trucks hit the road in the UK

UK customers including DPP, Hovis, and Wincanton today took delivery of the world’s first all-electric light-duty trucks in series production.
